Endocrinology Professionals of New York, PC, is a busy specialty practice located in Astoria, Queens.

We treat  patients with hormonal imbalances including but not limited to: Diabetes, Thyroid  disorders, Hypoglycemia, Cholesterol disorders, Metabolic syndrome, Obesity mainly as a consequence of another hormonal problem or as part of a comprehensive cardiovascular risk factor management; Osteoporosis, and other bone and mineral disorders leading to skeletal fractures; Metabolic causes for kidney stone formation and their prevention; thyroid disease; pituitary and adrenal disorders; problems with growth and development; women’s health problems involving menopause; excessive hair growth or hair loss; problems with high or low blood pressure.

We provide comprehensive diabetes management plus, we also specialize in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Thyroid disorders, especially Thyroid Cancer.

Other Hormonal disorders which are diagnosed and treated at our facility include Growth Hormone deficiency, disorders of Calcium and Vitamin D Metabolism, excessive hair growth or hair loss, and Adrenal Disorders, hormonal causes of uncontrolled Blood Pressure. Moreover, morbidly obese patients are also referred to our office to diagnose any underlying Hormonal etiology of morbid obesity such as Adrenal Hyperfunction (Steroid excess).

Our competent staff does on-site lab testing, Glucose monitoring, Thyroid Ultrasounds.  Monthly Nutritional counseling sessions are convened at our Office by certified Nutritionist to educate/train Diabetic and Obese patients. All of these services are provided at our 2 locations and then a summary of consultations and diagnostic reports are forwarded to the referring doctors.
